If you had an ancestor who fought on the western front in 1918, have you ever wondered about the conditions they fought in and the military regime they fought under? Whilst specific to the 6th Battalion Dorsetshire Regiment, Mud Blood and Bayonet, the book describes the daily life that would have been typical for the soldiers who fought in 1918. From the murderous onslaught of the German Spring Offensive to the final push and victory on the 11th November 1918. The information has been collated from battalion, regimental and person diaries. http://amzn.to/2jE2WGd #WW1OnThisDay #ww1centenary #ww1

My first military history book, Mud, Blood and Bayonet was released on 1 Jan 2018. It is a history of the 6th Dorsetshire Regiment in 1918, day by day, for them the bloodiest year of the war.
