‘Terrific spy yarn' - a review by Books Monthly

Here we have the first proper review for my book Break in Communication, from Books Monthly:  http://www.booksmonthly.co.uk/crimeb.html
'Takes in all the elements of the successful spy novel, transports them back in time to the second world war and deposits them firmly in the hands of two men, one an unlikely hero in the form of Bert, who's in the Home Guard, and the other, Julian, who's in Churchill's elite SOE... Jon Gliddon's terrific spy yarn is equally as good as anything by Ian Fleming, and twice as good as any of John Le Carré's yawn-inducing self-indulgent stories... I loved it.'

My first military history book, Mud, Blood and Bayonet was released on 1 Jan 2018. It is a history of the 6th Dorsetshire Regiment in 1918, day by day, for them the bloodiest year of the war.
